I simply wrote Recipient because I felt there were important parts of my experience that are not often spoken about and should be.

This book was written with a clear purpose: to share a lived experience, to contribute to understanding, and to add something meaningful to the conversation around organ and tissue donation, transplantation, and the systems that support it.
